Step parameter size in the latest CS API

I have really thought it can be helpful, at the end SONAR knows real limits for parameters and the "native" step size for them. But that feature does not work at the moment, SONAR reports 0.0025 for all parameters I have tried or just fail that call (for the Volume for example).
