After reading this thread:
https://www.azslow.com/index.php/topic,602.msg3613.html#msg3613
I have the following question(s) concerning my Nektar Panorama P6:
@bosone or anyone: I have a Panorama P6, but no matter what I do I can't get it to work. I followed the quick start guide. I have installed the azslow script with the setup that comes with it. I have enabled all the midi ports. I have created a controller surface with azslow chosen as control surface. I chose the right ports (I think) namely MIDIIN4 and MIDIOUT4. I have even imported a preset from this thread in the plugin manager under azslow control surface/plugin. (But I am not sure how to make that work) Do I have to set the Panorama in a certain mode?  I understood from what I have read that it must not be in MAckie mode. But I don't know how to change modes? is that even possible? What can be wrong? Any help would be appreciated. I love the P6 and I would really like it to work with Cakewalk Sonar. (I have the latest  Sonar with the subscription) Could anyone do a anydesk and check my config or maybe share an idea why it's not working for me? That would sure be cool. Many thanks already. - Johan

Naktar Panorama is a flexible controller, it is not "Plug&Play". Also Panorama is not Cakewalk aware (unlike old Nektar Impact) and so there is no instructions how to setup it in Cakewalk.

To use it in Cakewalk, you need to:
1) configure it to send MIDI messages you want to ports you want (everything on one Port is ok for Cakewalk, but sending DAW controls throw other port may have advantages). That process is well described in its documentation.
2) configure the DAW to interpret these messages. Some you probably want send throw the same port you send keys, to learn within VSTi instruments. For controlling DAW parameters, you need som Surface plug-in (f.e. AZ Controller). There is no "right" port, it depends what you have configured on device. But the "mode" you set on device (f.e. Mackie) should match the Surface plug-in / preset.

F.e. start with some single control, f.e. transport button. Assign AZ Controller to to some of its port. Press the button. Observe "Last MIDI event" in AZ Controller. If you see MIDI message there, the port match. Change the port otherwise till you find correct one.

Once you found the port, use "Startup preset" to assign some controls. There is no feedback, no motor control, etc. But that is quick and easy start to get something working.

Sorry, using flexible surfaces, especially with Cakewalk, require significant amount of knowledge. You can't use them efficiently (if at all) without reading and understanding there documentation, following by understanding how to map incoming MIDI to something useful in the DAW.
